Spanish-born Alienata moved to Valencia in 2004 and became a resident at Metro Dance Club, where she participated in the Overflow Collective alongside running music workshops and overseeing label operations. Her early connection to Germany came through Leipzig's Homoelektrik collective, but her artistic home solidified upon relocating to Berlin in 2011, where she became closely tied to the Killekill label and Krake Festival. She has since established herself as a fixture across Berlin's club ecosystem and internationally, with a sound spanning obscure electro, acid, dub, IDM, dark disco, and hypnotic techno. In 2017, she launched her own imprint Discos Atónicos, which has channeled her eclectic musical interests through releases by artists including Beta Evers and Dez Williams.
