Born in Frankfurt in 1973 and based in Berlin since 1996, André Galluzzi has spent over 25 years as a vinyl DJ at the intersection of deep house and techno. He was resident at Tresor from 1996, then at Ostgut from its opening and continued at Berghain when it opened in 2004. Galluzzi co-founded Taksi Records with Paul Brtschitsch in 1995 and established the label Aras in 2011 as a platform for experimental sounds. His productions appear on Cocoon, Cadenza, Ostgut Ton, and Highgrade, often in collaboration with artists like Guido Schneider and Dana Ruh. His sets are defined by long builds that move fluidly between ambient, deep house, and hypnotic techno.
