Aurora Halal is a Brooklyn-based producer and DJ who has established herself as a central figure in the contemporary techno underground. She founded the influential Mutual Dreaming party series in Brooklyn and co-founded the Sustain-Release festival, both rooted in DIY aesthetics and forward-thinking sound curation since 2010. Her psychedelic, hardware-driven approach combines shadowy atmospherics with metallic dance floor intensity. Based in New York, she holds a residency at Nowadays and is a regular at Berghain in Berlin, venues central to global club culture. Her releases have appeared on labels including Dekmantel, Mutual Dreaming Recordings, and Air Texture.
