Ayesha is an India-raised DJ and producer now based in Brooklyn, where she has become a key figure in the city's dance music scene. Her sound blends percussive techno, breaks, and bass with diasporic influences from her Indian heritage and the aesthetics of leftfield UK club music. She released her debut album Rhythm Is Memory on Kindergarten Records in 2022 and has worked with labels including Scuffed Recordings and Fever AM. A Nowadays resident, Ayesha prioritizes polyrhythmic grooves and meticulous sound design that she describes as body-over-mind music, built to move bodies on the dancefloor. She began her DJ career in Washington DC's warehouse and club circuit before relocating to Brooklyn to deepen her work as a producer.
