Beste Hira is a DJ and producer from Istanbul now based in Amsterdam. She studied classical piano and cello at conservatory before transitioning to techno production, bringing formal musicianship to her work. Her sound combines ethnic grooves with dark, hypnotic techno and has appeared on labels including Format Records and Black Line Recordings. She is a Berghain regular and Orphic resident, and has played Vault Sessions, Awakenings, and major European venues. Her productions and sets explore tension and release through deliberate composition, often incorporating live instrumentation.
