Luke Standing, aka Blue Hour, is a UK-based producer and DJ based in Berlin who has been active since the early 2010s. He relocated to Berlin in 2011 and founded Blue Hour Music, his independent label, in 2013 after early releases under other names. His sound blurs acid techno, breakbeat, and jungle with '90s-inflected sensibilities, drawing from UK rave and Detroit techno. Standing has performed at Berghain, Shelter, and fabric, and his remixes for Ostgut Ton and other labels have gained support from artists like Steffi and Answer Code Request. Beyond his solo work, he runs positivesource as a sub-label with Swedish DJ Philippa Pacho and continues developing collaborative projects including the Tracing Xircles duo with Berlin producer A-JX.
