Boys Noize is the stage name of German-Iraqi producer and DJ Alexander Ridha, born in Hamburg and now based in Berlin. He has been active in electronic music since the early 2000s, initially releasing on International Deejay Gigolos Records, Kitsuné, and Turbo Recordings before founding Boysnoize Records in 2005 to maintain full artistic control. His sound spans electro, house, and industrial techno influences, with studio albums including Oi Oi Oi, Power, and Mayday. Ridha is a Berghain fixture and has collaborated across genres with artists ranging from Daft Punk and Depeche Mode to Frank Ocean and Lady Gaga, while his label has developed into a multidirectional platform with over 150 releases from artists like Chilly Gonzales and Josh Wink. He also co-founded the side projects Dog Blood with Skrillex and Octave Minds with Chilly Gonzales.
