Not Today/ ARTISTSCarista is a Surinamese-Dutch DJ and producer born and based in Utrecht. She founded United Identities in 2017, an independent label, NTS Radio show, and event series dedicated to amplifying Dutch contemporary electronic music and underrepresented artists. Her DJ sets span house, techno, and soul-oriented electronics, moving fluidly across genres and varying tempos. A BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix nomination in 2020 led to a residency at the station in 2021, alongside regular sets at clubs and festivals including Fabric, De School, Dekmantel, and Lowlands. Carista's role as label head extends her influence as a curator and advocate for local talent, channeling her mission to foster community and inclusivity within the dancefloor.
