Born and raised in Morocco, Chami moved to Lyon, France where he discovered techno before relocating to Berlin, where he has become fully integrated in the underground scene. He is known for vinyl-only DJ sets that draw on clean, rhythmic techno, and he co-curates DIG Curated, a sub-label of the Berlin-based Dust In Grooves. Chami is a Berghain resident and collaborates with OPH on the Face 2 Face project, which uses four turntables and two mixers simultaneously. He also co-organizes Minijob, an underground crew that hosts unannounced raves in abandoned spaces around Berlin, championing inclusive values across house, disco, and techno.
