Courtney Bailey is a DJ, producer, and party organiser from Kanagawa, Japan, now based in Berlin. She first gained international attention by founding the underground warehouse rave NOCOMPLY in Tokyo before relocating to Berlin, where she co-hosts HEADZOO at Sameheads with Yuzo Iwata. Her 2023 debut EP Soleil on Hole and Holland established her sonic signature of acid-infused electronics, which developed further through releases including the 2025 LP In Dream on Second Circle, featuring digital synths, acid bass, and her spoken vocals layered over balearic-inflected dancefloor arrangements. Her recent work balances introspective, intimate production with kinetic club energy, drawing from both electronic experimentation and Japanese musical traditions.
