Originally from Tel Aviv, David Elimelech relocated to Berlin where he has become an active figure in the city's electronic music landscape. He began collecting house records at age fifteen and established himself through residencies in Tel Aviv's queer underground scene before moving to Berlin. His DJ selections draw heavily from Chicago, Detroit, and New York house traditions, with elements of acid and disco. Elimelech is co-founder of Laundrette, a recurring queer event held with fellow Berlin DJs Roi Perez and Partok, known for extended marathon sets. He performs regularly at Berlin institutions including Panorama Bar and Berghain, as well as international clubs and festivals.
