Not Today/ ARTISTSBorn Samuel Geiser in Bern, Switzerland, Deetron grew up listening to hip-hop and house music before being inspired by Detroit legend Jeff Mills in the early 1990s. He has been active since the late 1990s, releasing minimal techno 12-inches on labels like Rotation Records before evolving into the vocal-inflected, soulful sound for which he is now known. His albums for Music Man Records—Twisted and Music Over Matter—alongside mix CDs for Balance, Fabric, and DJ-Kicks, established him as a major voice in European house and techno. In addition to his prolific remix work and his Character imprint launched in 2014, Deetron performs regularly at leading clubs worldwide and has released recent material on Running Back, Ilian Tape, and Mutual Rytm.
