Not Today/ ARTISTSDengue Dengue Dengue are an audio-visual duo from Lima, Peru, comprising producers and graphic designers Felipe Salmon and Rafael Pereira. Formed in 2010, they reconstruct Latin American rhythms—particularly Peruvian cumbia—through electronic means, blending analog and digital production with handmade visual masks and striking stage presentation. Their sonic palette spans from psychedelic cumbia and dub to footwork and techno, drawing on Afro-Peruvian and Afro-Colombian polyrhythms. Their 2012 debut La Alianza Profana established them locally and caught the attention of Berlin's Chusma label, which reissued the record in Europe. Subsequent albums on Enchufada and other labels have seen their influence expand across club and festival circuits globally.
