Denise Rabe is a Berlin-based DJ and producer from north Germany who moved to the city in 2011 after a Luke Slater set at Berghain sparked her shift toward techno. She began DJing at age 16 with roots in hip-hop, drum and bass, and house before finding her voice in sparse, industrial techno marked by hypnotic grooves and gothic atmosphere. Her production debut came in 2015 on Mutewax, followed by pivotal EPs on ARTS Collective. In 2017 she founded her label Rabe, curating releases that pair music with coherent artwork and concept, collaborating with artists like Rrose and Shxcxchcxsh. Beyond the decks and studio, she has worked as a booker, radio host, and promoter deeply embedded in Berlin's scene.
