Moe Espinosa, known as Drumcell, is a Los Angeles-based producer born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley. A classically trained musician who cut his teeth in punk and industrial bands before discovering the early 1990s L.A. rave scene, he co-founded Droid Behavior with the Raíz brothers in the early 2000s, launching the Droid Recordings label and Interface warehouse events. His productions combine analog and digital synthesis into raw, hypnotic techno marked by industrial textures and challenging harmonic movements, with releases on CLR, Dystopian, Detroit Underground, and his own experimental imprint. Drumcell has performed at Berghain and major international venues, garnering support from producers like Luke Slater, Speedy J, and Chris Liebing.
