American-born and now Berlin-based, Dustin Zahn has been producing and performing techno since the late 1990s. He co-founded Abiotic Recordings with Ian Lehman in 2001 and later established Enemy Records in 2004, which specializes in late-night hypnotic techno. His releases on major labels such as Drumcode, Rekids, CLR, and Soma established him internationally, while his remixes for artists including Adam Beyer and Chris Liebing became staples in DJ collections. Based in Berlin, Zahn works across a dark, moody strain of techno that emphasizes the hypnotic and tribal elements of the sound.
