Gilles Aiken, known professionally as Edward, is a Berlin-based DJ and producer working within house and techno. He has released on Giegling, a key label in the Berlin underground, as well as labels including PAL SL, Die Orakel, Assemble Music, and White. Edward's sound draws from groove-oriented house and techno templates, layered with metallic and organic percussion, shaped by his study of vintage records. His sets progress between club-focused material and psychedelic, ambient-inflected textures, often incorporating samples and edits to create an immersive, cosmically-inclined atmosphere. He has performed at Panorama Bar and other Berlin venues.
