Eli Escobar is a New York-based DJ and producer active since the 1990s, emerging from the city's club scene of the late nineties and early 2000s. His foundation in house and disco is complemented by an eclectic range spanning deep house, acid, electro, and funk, with an ear for vocal-driven tracks and soulful melodies. He founded the Night People label imprint and has released music on labels including Phonica, Razor-N-Tape, Defected's Classic, and Nervous. His 2014 debut album Up All Night brought him international recognition and expanded his profile as both a DJ and producer known for remix work across diverse artists. Escobar holds residencies at venues including House of Yes and Le Bain, and now operates his own Brooklyn nightclub while maintaining a prolific presence in New York's dance music community.
