Austrian DJs and producers Fabian and Christopher, known as Foehn & Jerome, are based in Berlin where they have held a long-standing residency at Club Der Visionaere. They operate the Perfumed Freedom imprint, which also functions as an event series; their own releases navigate minimalist house and tech house aesthetics with glitchy production and quirky arrangements. Releases on the imprint and elsewhere—including records on Perlon—showcase their characteristic approach to wonky, percussive house music. Their work balances cerebral minimalism with dancefloor functionality, spanning from tripped-out textures to dusty, hypnotic grooves.
