California-born DJ and producer Gene On Earth (Eugene Albert) is based in Berlin, where he founded the vinyl-only Limousine Dream label. Active since the mid-2010s, he specializes in a groovy, eclectic strain of house music that draws from breakbeat, minimal techno, and deep-digging crate culture. His debut album Local Fuzz arrived in 2019 without promotion but landed on multiple year-end lists, followed by Time On The Vine and regular compilation work through his label. Known for extended DJ sets and a recognizable cartoon aesthetic, he has become a staple of the global underground electronic music circuit.
