Hurdslenk is the alias of UK-based producer Rich Griffin, operating out of Newcastle. He emerged around 2021-2022 as a technician of raw, gritty techno shaped by the aesthetics of the 1990s and early 2000s. His early releases on Out Of Place, Hardgroove, and Frenzy established him as an artist committed to tape-saturated, compressed drums and industrial textures rather than trend-chasing. Subsequently, he has appeared on Key Vinyl, Reclaim Your City, Unterwegs, and other underground imprints, building a reputation for timeless groove underpinned by metallic synths and percussive precision. His work channels old-school character through a distinctly contemporary production lens.
