Dutch-born Ignez grew up on the north coast of the Netherlands and is now based in Berlin. He is a DJ, producer, and founder of Somov Records, the imprint through which he released his earliest work beginning in 2020. His music spans raw and hypnotic techno to peak-time material, with releases also appearing on Token and SK_eleven. Collaborations include work with Rødhåd. Ignez is a resident DJ at Eerste Communie and has performed at Berghain, where he plays sets that balance driving techno with deeper and more ambient passages.
