Julius Debler, performing as Introversion, is a Berlin-based producer, sound designer, and DJ working in dark, groove-driven techno informed by 1990s aesthetics. His studio work blends hard-hitting breakbeat-focused drums with melancholic trance chord progressions and atmospheric textures, creating a signature style that bridges industrial techno with classic rave elements. He achieved recognition with releases including Dystopia on ARTS Records, followed by regular outputs on labels like Emerald and his own Makatao imprint. As a DJ, Introversion balances severe kick drums with melodic moments, drawing from both unreleased material and carefully selected classics. He has played Berghain and other major venues across Europe and Asia.
