Dutch techno producer and DJ Jeroen Search (real name Jeroen Schrijvershof) emerged from the Netherlands in the mid-1990s, initially recording as DJ Groovehead on X-Trax Records. He established his own Search imprint and has released across respected labels including Figure, M_Rec, Traut, and Coincidence Records, as well as on Jeff Mills' Axis label. Search debuted his live set format at Berghain in 2009 and maintains a presence at Berlin's techno institutions. His production approach is unconventional—recording tracks in single takes with live editing—and his catalog maintains a consistent sonic identity rooted in uncompromising techno, earning him recognition as an influential figure among peers.
