Born and raised in Wiesbaden, Jesse G is a Berlin-based techno DJ with a sound rooted in deep, trippy textures alongside groovy and percussive rhythms, complemented by UK bass influences. She spent nearly six years at Hard Wax, the influential Berlin record store founded by Mark Ernestus, where she built an encyclopedic knowledge of electronic music. Jesse G holds residencies at RSO Berlin and Tresor, has played Berghain and other hallowed Berlin institutions, and co-hosts the radio show necton on Refugee Worldwide. Her energetic genre-spanning sets draw from bass music, breakbeat, and dancehall alongside varied techno grooves, reflecting a DJ philosophy of connecting diverse musical cultures.
