John Talabot is a Barcelona-based DJ, producer, and record label owner born in 1982. Active as a producer since 2009, he initially worked as a resident DJ in Barcelona clubs before shifting focus to studio work. His breakthrough came with the 2010 single "Sunshine" and the 2012 debut album ƒIN on Permanent Vacation, which blended melodic house and ambient textures. He founded the Hivern label and has collaborated with producers including Axel Boman as Talaboman and longtime partner Pional. Talabot continues to perform globally and has maintained extended DJ residencies at venues including London's Phonox.
