Jump Source is a Montreal-based duo formed in 2016 by Francis Latreille (Priori) and Patrick Holland, each with their own prolific solo careers. The pair began the project through four-handed improvisations in a home studio in the Mile End neighborhood, working with hardware including an MPC 2000XL, Moog Source, and modular kits. Their sound blends house music with techno and electronic elements, marked by dense arrangements and subtle production details. Between 2019 and 2025, Jump Source released six EPs before unveiling their debut album Fold in April 2026, a genre-spanning effort featuring collaborations with artists like billy woods, Helena Deland, and Loukeman. Both members run their own labels—Holland operates Verdicchio Music Publishing while Latreille runs NAFF Recordings.
