Not Today/ ARTISTSDavid Letellier, known as Kangding Ray, is a French producer and sound artist based in Berlin since the early 2000s. Beginning with architecture studies, he transitioned to electronic music and has released consistently on Raster-Noton and Stroboscopic Artefacts, labels that bracket his work spanning experimental sound design and club-oriented techno. His music merges ambient textures and futuristic rhythms with meticulous sound design, moving across abstract installations, film scores, and dancefloor productions. Beyond music, Kangding Ray creates kinetic sound installations and has composed for cinema, including the acclaimed Sirāt soundtrack which won the Cannes Jury Prize. He is a recurring performer at Berghain, where his work navigates the convergence between experimental composition and techno.
