Not Today/ ARTISTSketia is a DJ and activist based in Berlin who emerged from Lisbon's underground club scene. Born and raised in Lisbon, ketia co-founded the Kit Ket collective in 2018, an influential trans-focused party and community space that challenged the city's commodified club landscape. Now residing in Berlin, ketia remains connected to both cities' scenes as a resident at venues like Kilowatt and Joyride, and as a key member of the Kaptcha collective, which raises funds for trans and nonbinary immigrants through music. Sonically, ketia explores eclectic territory across house, techno, breakbeat and rave, blending rhythmic sophistication with emotional depth. Her work reflects a commitment to creating safer spaces within nightlife and fostering genuine community beyond typical club dynamics, including involvement with kwia, Berlin's ambient listening bar focused on intimacy and high-fidelity sound.
