Hawaii-born, San Francisco-seasoned, and New York–based, Kim Ann Foxman emerged from the underground rave scene to become a respected producer and DJ. Before establishing herself behind the decks, she sang with New York's Hercules and Love Affair, contributing to their disco-inflected debut. Her studio work, largely released through her Firehouse label, synthesizes raw house, acid, and emotive techno into a durable dancefloor sound. She holds a residency at Good Room in her hometown of New York and regularly plays venues like Berghain, Fabric, and DC-10. Alongside her DJing, Foxman also releases music as part of Pleasure Planet, an electronic project on her self:timer imprint.
