Taylor Freels, performing as Liquid Earth, is a California-born producer and DJ now based between Berlin and Barcelona. He produces tech house with distinctive melodic sensibilities, blending influences from London and Berlin electronic music with California's warmer sensibilities. Freels established early prominence on labels like Let's Play House and Voyage Recordings, and has since released through Kalahari Oyster Cult, TerraFirm, Butter Side Up, and his own Liquid Earth Physical imprint. His approach synthesizes elements across house, techno, and breaks, ranging from wiggly tech house to trance and electro refracted through a vintage lens. Beyond production, Freels is an accomplished DJ who has performed at Panorama Bar and various international venues including Dimensions Festival and Honey Soundsystem events.
