Measure Divide is the Toronto-based project of Karachi-born DJ, producer, and community builder Fahad Ahmad. He moved to Canada in 2004, discovered electronic music soon after, and spent eight years touring internationally in a production duo before launching as a solo artist in 2012. In 2013, he founded FORMAT, an underground event series that became central to reshaping Toronto's techno landscape and evolved into one of North America's key platforms for forward-thinking electronic music. His releases on Clergy and Mutual Rytm showcase metallic textures and unruly momentum, while his sets are marked by raw physical energy, sharp edges, and unexpected pivots. He has performed at institutions including Berghain, Tresor, and K41.
