MMM is a Berlin-based collaboration between Erik Wiegand (Errorsmith) and Michael Fiedler (Fiedel) that began in 1996. Errorsmith is a synth designer and PAN-affiliated producer known for creating Native Instruments' Razor synthesizer, while Fiedel is a Berghain resident and co-founder of Berlin's Wax Treatment party. The duo became known for seminal club tracks including the 1997 disco-techno hybrid 'Donna' and the 2010 rave-inflected 'Nous sommes MMM,' working with labels such as Honest Jon's, Livity Sound, and Boys Noize. They released their self-titled debut album 'On the Edge' in 2021 after a measured approach to recorded output, favoring quality over frequency.
