Ana Kublashvili, known professionally as Newa, is a classically trained musician and jazz-influenced DJ and producer from Tbilisi, Georgia, who began her career in 2012. She is a resident DJ at the techno institution Bassiani in her home city and has performed at international venues including Berghain in Berlin, Basement in New York, and Awakenings in Amsterdam. In 2021, she co-founded Shin Records, a label dedicated to amplifying Georgian electronic artists. Her sound explores the lower frequencies of the bass spectrum alongside acid and melodic elements, balancing technical depth with emotional resonance. Her releases have appeared on labels including Klockworks, Semantica, and positivesource.
