French-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer ophélie works at the intersection of dubstep, techno, and IDM. Her sound centres on low-end frequencies and intricate polyrhythmic percussion, layered with melancholic textures drawn from UK bass music and sound system culture. She has released on Pressure Dome, Bait, Early Reflex, traverse, and hundert Records, and holds a residency at Refuge Worldwide called Therapy Dog. Alongside producing and DJing, she co-runs the Kwia event series and works with Open Music Lab, a Berlin collective offering free music education to marginalized communities.
