Oracy is the moniker of Thomas Wendel, a Berlin-based DJ and producer active since the mid-2000s. He runs the labels Mojuba, a.r.t.less, and Wandering, which focus on deep house, techno, and experimental music. His early work, including his debut on Mojuba, rose to prominence through records released on the label, marked by organic house production and hip-hop-inflected sensibilities. A regular fixture at Berghain since the 2010s, Oracy has established himself as a fixture at Berlin's premier venue across nearly three decades. His productions balance melodic fluidity with gritty, uncompromising approaches to rhythm and house propulsion.
