British-born producer based in Berlin, Palms Trax (Jay Donaldson) emerged from London's record-store landscape with an affinity for Chicago house and Detroit techno. His debut EP, Equation, launched Lobster Theremin in 2013 with valve-heated, melodic house built on smooth drum patterns and synth work. Since 2015, he has developed a prolific output through Dekmantel, mixing euphoric piano lines, acid, and luminescent keys into distinctive dance floor material. He hosts the monthly Cooking with Palms Trax radio show on Berlin Community Radio and has performed internationally across venues including Panorama Bar, Concrete, and De School.
