Perel (Annegret Fiedler) is a Berlin-based producer, DJ, and vocalist from Saxony, East Germany. Drawing on influences from 1980s New Wave and post-punk alongside her discovery of Berlin's club scene after moving there in 2010, she creates house and electronic music that bridges dancefloor energy with introspective, guitar-inflected production. She became the first German artist signed to DFA Records, releasing her debut album Hermetica in 2018 and subsequent work on Kompakt. Perel is known for singing live over her DJ sets, performing at venues including Berghain's Panorama Bar and underground clubs across Europe and beyond.
