Geoff Wright, known as Presha, is a New Zealand-born DJ and curator based in Berlin who founded the Samurai Music Group, an independent operation encompassing the Samurai Music label focused on drum and bass, plus the experimental imprints Horo and Mindgames. Since establishing Samurai Music in the mid-2000s, Presha has become known for championing a sound at the intersection of drum and bass and experimental techno, working with producers from across the globe while maintaining deep roots in the drum and bass community. His approach emphasizes narrative-driven DJ sets that balance atmosphere with physical intensity, resulting in performances across Europe, Japan, and beyond. Through Samurai and its sister labels, Presha has built a platform that bridges the precision of contemporary drum and bass with the spatial complexity of forward-thinking electronic music.
