Marvin and Valentino have been DJing together since 2007, initially playing basement discos and clubs in their native Munich before expanding internationally. In 2012 they established Public Possession as a broader creative platform encompassing a record label and independent shop. Beyond their DJ work, the duo curate eclectic releases across house, techno, and experimental electronics, with their label putting out lo-fi pop, disco-inflected house, and ambient work from artists worldwide. Their approach emphasizes quality and artistic integrity over commercial concerns, with the shop and label functioning as a cultural hub intertwined with graphic design, exhibitions, and events. Public Possession's curation reflects a broad aesthetic sensibility that resists easy categorization, drawing from far-reaching influences and championing risk-taking artists and left-field sounds.
