Rami Abi Rafi is a Lebanese DJ, sound artist, and photographer born in London and based between Berlin and Beirut. Through monthly residencies on Cashmere Radio, Noods Radio, and Radio Alhara, he hosts programs moving between experimental and traditional Lebanese music, electronic, cold wave, and folk. His sound art practice centers on amplifying chairs and revisiting the notion of DJing through recordings of Levantine instruments including the oud and nay. His approach to both DJ performance and sound art reflects a deep engagement with Middle Eastern musical traditions filtered through electronic and experimental frameworks.
