Emerging around 2017, he has released work on labels including Kalahari Oyster Cult, Trust, and Planet Euphorique, building a reputation as a sought-after live performer. His signature sound emphasizes squelchy, idiosyncratic electro production crafted primarily with hardware. Reptant's 2020 album Return to Planet X'trapolis was a concept work detailing his reptilian character's fictional origins. He splits time between Melbourne and international touring, bringing a distinctive approach to electro both in the studio and through dynamic live performances.
