Richard Akingbehin is a British-Nigerian DJ and curator based in Berlin, where he has lived for over a decade. His sets blend house, techno, and ambient with dub as the connective thread, drawing influence from Jamaican and UK sound system culture. He founded Kynant Records in 2015, shifting the label's focus toward dub techno and deeper experimental sounds, with recent releases including work from Tikiman. Akingbehin is also co-founder of Refuge Worldwide, a Berlin-based community radio station that has become central to the city's music and cultural landscape. His work with Tikiman—a Rhythm & Sound vocalist—extends across releases, radio programming, and collaborative live performances.
