Ron Albrecht is a DJ from Schwerin, Germany who began his career in the early 1990s after frequent visits to Berlin's foundational techno venues including Tresor, Bunker, and E-Werk. He worked as a producer between 1997 and 2002, releasing records through ElektronikParlament and other labels before co-founding Gerberei in Schwerin, which he operated as a resident and organizer until 2013. His sets blend contemporary sounds with deep knowledge of techno and house fundamentals, drawing inspiration from figures like Kid Paul and Jeff Mills. Albrecht has performed across major German festivals and clubs including Fusion, Melt, SMS, and Berghain, where he continues to appear regularly.
