Felix Nyajo, known professionally as Salute, is a Vienna-born, Manchester-based producer and DJ active since the early 2010s. He began making music at thirteen after discovering electronic and grime through video games, releasing his breakthrough Lionheart EP in 2013 while still in Vienna. After relocating to Manchester, Salute developed a sound that draws from UK garage, house, and breakbeat, achieving wider recognition with the 2019 mixtape Condition and subsequent releases on Ninja Tune. His productions blend club energy with emotional depth through lush keys, sampled vocals, and groove-driven arrangements. Salute has performed at major festivals and venues, building a following across underground and mainstream dance communities.
