Not Today/ ARTISTSSamira is a queer Palestinian DJ based in Berlin who gravitated toward house music after initially exploring clubs as an androgynous dancer. He was a resident DJ at Kabareet, the Palestinian cultural venue in Haifa that operated for nine years before closing in 2024, where he helped shape the club's community and programming. Samira has performed at prominent Berlin venues including Panorama Bar and Tresor. He co-curated a compilation on Umay Records featuring collaborations between electronic Palestinian artists and producers from across the Levant and beyond, centering voices and messages of unity and resilience. His work straddles both his Palestinian roots and the Berlin electronic music scene.
