Montreal-born Merlin Ettore, known as SORCERY, is a Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist rooted in experimental music and club culture. Working as a drummer, producer, and live performer, he explores the interplay between acoustic percussion and live electronics through improvisation and custom synthesis. His approach blends dense, distorted analogue textures with intricate drum patterns, where acoustic and electronic components are designed to interact as a unified sonic source. With releases on labels including Bedouin Records, ARA, and 47, SORCERY has performed at institutions like Berghain and Tresor, establishing himself in Berlin's experimental underground.
