Not Today/ ARTISTSThomas Melchior is a Berlin-based producer and DJ with roots in London, New York, and Brazil who moved permanently to Berlin in 2003. A foundational figure in minimal house music, he co-founded Soul Capsule with Peter Adshead in the late 1990s and has released throughout his career on labels including Perlon, Trelik, and Cadenza. Known for intricate, minimalist production that eschews heavy effects, Melchior also operates his own imprints and has collaborated with Ricardo Villalobos and Fumiya Tanaka among others. His work spans deep house to minimal techno, marked by careful attention to detail and organic sound design.
