Timnah is a DJ and selector based in northwestern Switzerland, where she is deeply embedded in the Basel music scene. Brought up in her parents' jazz clubs and influenced by her brother's love of dub and soundsystem culture, she began DJing in the early 2000s and developed a diverse approach spanning drum and bass, techno, breakbeat, ambient, and house. Member of the Amenthia Recordings collective and recent addition to the A Walking Contradiction music and research label, both Basel-based projects, she has held residencies at local venues including Hinterhof Bar and Elysia. Her DJ sets traverse multiple genres and tempos with intuitive attention to dancefloor dynamics and emotional narrative.
