Tobias Freund (Tobias.) is a Frankfurt-born producer, sound engineer, and live musician based in Berlin since the early 2000s. Active since the early 1990s across multiple aliases including Pink Elln, Metazone, and Phobia, he established himself through collaborative projects like Sieg Über Die Sonne with Dandy Jack and his Non Standard Productions imprint with Max Loderbauer. A Berghain resident, his modular synth-driven work spans techno, ambient, and experimental territories, balancing stripped-down grooves with intricate sound design. He has produced and remixed for labels including Ostgut Ton, Cadenza, and Wagon Repair, collaborating with figures like Ricardo Villalobos and Atom Heart on projects such as Odd Machine.
